Craving for pizza? But no time to order online and wait until it’s delivered? Don’t worry folks, today I’m here to share an easy and quick bread pizza using only a few toppings. I’m not a big fan of pizzas, but I love the thin-crust pizzas over the regular ones. Whenever I order in any restaurant or outlet I dig the menu for THIN CRUST pizzas. I feel these are very light on my tummy and are crisp like our own Chakli/murukku,of course, they taste different I know :-P. Enough of the temptations, now let’s get into the recipe.
Ingredients
- Brown bread/Wheat Bread/White Bread-As required (i took 2 slices here)
- Onions/Ullipaya/Eerulli-1
- Green Chilies- 2
- Pizza-Sauce -1 Teaspoon for each slice (or adjust accordingly)
- Cheese-As required
- Butter/Ghee/Oil-To fry
Procedure for Bread Pizza
- Thinly slice the onions, finely chop the chillies and keep them aside.
- Heat a tawa or pan and spread butter/ghee/oil (with Butter it tastes yum…)
- Once the butter is melted place the bread slices on tawa and fry for 2 minutes (Or you can just heat it for a while if you don’t want it to get too crisp)
- Now flip the bread on to other side and switch off the stove.
- Spread the pizza sauce on the slices evenly and top it with onions, chillies, and grated cheese
- Switch on the stove, cover the slices with a lid, and cook on low flame until cheese gets melted.
- Remove from the pan and cut the bread pizza diagonally to form triangles.
Tadaaaa!!! easy and quick bread pizza is ready. 🙂
